Nguyễn Đình Phong, known professionally as John, works in company strategy, supply-chain partnerships and export development at Vũ Phong Phú Rice Polishing Company Limited.
After graduating in Australia, John returned to Vietnam and co-founded PRAZ, applying his business and marketing background to entrepreneurship. In 2022, family circumstances brought him back to support the family’s rice manufacturing operations.
After returning from Australia, John co-founded PRAZ and worked in marketing and business development. After approximately two years, he handed day-to-day leadership to his co-founder in 2022 to support his family’s rice operations.
Over four years, his responsibilities developed from purchasing to purchasing with quality checks, and then management. This period built practical experience in rice and the wider food supply sector.
As CEO & Export Director, John is guiding a gradual transition from traditional manufacturing, processing and supply to other exporters toward stronger online market access, brand development and direct rice exports. His approach combines operational experience with practical marketing knowledge and a long-term business strategy.
The aim is a sustainable brand and lasting customer relationships, developed through continuous improvements to the existing operating model.
